the value of friendship
if you happen to have somebody, very close to you, somebody to call friend, no matter how sad how happy you are, this person will be there for you, would you DARE to betray and hurt them?
just to share. i know this person, very nice lady. currently, she said that she doesn't have any best friend, however she has a lot of friends. i asked, why didn't you consider one of your friends as your best friend? her reply? I am afraid to trust any person since that incident that hurt me very much, not physically though. so the story goes...
she used to have a best friend since her childhood. they played, cried and almost did all activities, together. to make it short, after both of them managed to enter the secondary school, this best friend of hers (i will call her Miss L) began to take advantage on her. Miss L would ask her to carry her bags, clean her shoes, did her homework, take the blame for any mistakes or wrongdoings of Miss L. This girl did all of this because she loved Miss L very much, she loved her best friend very much. until they were in form 5, where all of Miss L's cheeky tricks was being revealed by one of this girl's classmates. Seems that, Miss L was not even considering this girl as her friend, instead, taken as her "servants"! What a shocking statement! Since then, this girl was very hurt that she began to get away from Miss L. And due to this incident, this girl never trust anybody being very nice to her.
Yah, one more thing. I did ask her one last question. "So, you never trust anybody?" She said, "Only now, I have the courage to trust another person, and this person also opened my mind to accept another person to be considered as my NEW best friend." "And who is that?" I asked. Her reply... "My husband"
Ok, what i've just shared is a real thing. and what i am trying to say here is NOT TO GET A HUSBAND / WIFE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE (duh!!!). If you happen to have a person that you considered best friend, try your best to make each other happy and the most important thing is, do not betray and hurt your friend even though you are VERY MAD at them. Insya-Allah, tak rugi kalau kita menghargai seseorang insan yang bergelar kawan.
