late again today
again...again...again...owh, really, i'm sick of this. late for what? of course, late for work. again? more excuse? no! it's not an excuse; it is an explanation. i am late because of the jam, which is getting worse from day to day. so what's the story for today? there was an accident at jalan masin, so early in the morning, that makes the traffic so heavy.
guess what? i still remember last year, when i was just married, i thought that travelling at 0630 was still early, that i will arrive at around 0700 at school. i was using jalan bengkurong, then bunut, bandar then straight to the school. it turned out that i arrived at 0740! wow!!! coming late on the first day after my marriage.
after about a week using the same route, i tried another route. i used jalan bengkurong masin, masin, sengkurong, jerudong then lebuhraya muara tutong. i took off from my home at lumapas at 0620, and i arrived at school at 0725. okay, not really bad huh...so from that time on, i used this route for my journey. not bad traffic all the time...
however lately, the traffic along this route seems to get heavier and heavier. i don't know why, maybe drivers are getting smarter (too smart indeed?). aiya...just for your information, here i list down the jam spots, along with their approximate time taken (for masin-jerudong-highway route), just in case you want to avoid these spots.
1. simpang bengkurong masin (about 5 mins)
2. simpang sekolah rendah masin n jangsak (about 7 mins)
3. simpang sekolah menengah jerudong (could take more than 10 mins)
4. simpang istana nurul izzah, masjid jerudong and halaqah (also could take more than 10 mins)
5. simpang jerudong ke highway muara tutong (about 5 mins)
so now my friends, just calculate how long do i take to travel from house in lumapas to the school in lambak kanan. (if the journey is very, very smooth, i took only about 45 min to reach my destination). :)
